Artios Pharma is recruiting for a Scientist for a 12 Month Fixed Term Maternity cover.
You will join a growing research team within this innovative and expanding company. Your primary responsibility will be to manage preclinical pharmacology studies with contract research organisations and collaborators. Generating efficacy, tolerability and PK/PD data for novel anticancer agents. Review protocols/reports, analyse preclinical data and represent data to the project team.
Qualifications and Experience required:
- PhD or BSc/MSc plus equivalent preclinical experience in cancer research.
- Demonstratable experience of in vivo oncology models in drug discovery or in academia.
- Managing contract research organisations and external collaborations.
- Experience of pharmacodynamic biomarkers in preclinical models.
- Previous experience in preclinical drug discovery.
- Understanding of in vivo pharmacology in a cancer drug discovery setting.
- Understanding of basic cancer cell biology or DNA repair pathways.
