We at Artios congratulate Professor Sir Stephen Jackson in his recent knighthood appointment for services to innovation and research. Professor Sir Stephen Jackson has been pioneering drug discovery efforts targeting DNA repair vulnerabilities to the benefit of many cancer patients (i.e. Olaparib). His work initiated a global effort to exploit DNA repair inhibitors to treat cancer. Our team has worked closely with Professor Sir Stephen Jackson given his expertise in DNA repair, so we’re extremely thrilled to see his appointment.
